Socknapped

In a world where no sock is safe... one man will stop at nothing to retrieve what has been stolen from him. You have nothing left to lose once you've been... Socknapped.

This was made as a final project for a Film/Video II class. My plan was to make a spoof of suspense/thriller movies about kidnappings, but play the entire thing completely straight-faced: the humor would come from how serious everyone acts, even though the "person" in danger is a sock. I wrote/directed/shot/edited, and have to give big thanks to Ian Perera and Nathan Zeichner for acting. All of the music comes from Jamendo.com, and credit goes to: Juice Connection, Miguel Herrero, Robert Spees, Sikos, and SUR.

As with my other movies, I basically storyboarded the entire movie before shooting began. I will be posting some storyboards soon!
