I am currently a junior at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Digital Media Design and minoring in Cinema Studies. I love telling stories through art, and spend a lot of my time drawing, writing, or making movies—so I would love to work in the film or animation industry, focusing on cinematography, staging, storyboarding, modeling, animating, and maybe one day writing/directing an entire movie of my own! I also love cartooning: I've been writing and illustrating comic strips for various school newspapers and magazines (as well as this website) roughly every two weeks since my sophomore year of high school. And still going strong. So if I could one day be an illustrator at something like The New Yorker, that would be pretty great! |

Also: I'm a big movie-buff (Mel Brooks and the Coen Brothers especially), my current favorite TV shows are Lost and The Office and Dexter, I love Seinfeld and The Simpsons and Curb Your Enthusiasm, I'm one of those annoying Arrested Development fans, I read The Onion every week, I enjoy playing video games, my favorite color is blue, I like pasta, I know how to whistle, my favorite animals are monkeys and penguins, whenever someone asks me to pick a number between 1 and 10 I'll probably pick 2, I spend too much time cleaning and organizing things, when I was a kid I was briefly on the Nickelodeon game show Double Dare, I love wandering around in book stores, and I'm terrified of marionettes and clowns. |
